I am a dwarf

The drama teacher at my school has obviously gone mad.
Care to know why? for our spring musical we are doing THE HOBBIT.
Based on the book. And guess what I am?
That's right. With a BEARD. It is a terrible terrible sham of a show, but my friends and I are in it for laughs.....actually, we may have gone mad as well.
On a happier note, here is a pretty bag:
YakPak $40
Feast your eyes.

Jean lust

I want these soooooo effing much!

I could not be happier that colored jeans are coming back in style, so now we can bask in their lovely brightness without feeling horribly 80's.
Something else that I long for:

Harajuku Lovers $44.90
My greed knows no bounds.
On a non-fashiony note, I am super happy right now because my friend Amelia who moved to Boston over the summer is coming back to CA for my Bat Mitzvah in a week. we are taking her to great america and planning my after parrrrrty/welcome home parrrrrty for her...so much fun!

The extras get their close up

Me and my friend Alex were extras (we extra'd?) on the movie Milk (which is about Harvey Milk) today in SF and apparently, people own a lot more 70's clothes then I thought. That's us up at the top - I'm trying to see over the crowd and we wanted to get a picture for posterity.

(sorry about the alignment issues)

They needed a bunch of people for a crowd scene where Harvey Milk gives a speech, and we stood there and chanted "har-vey! har-vey! yeah! whoooohoo!" ; that was our big moment of fame lol.
And, some random stats:
3 drag queens
Too many peace signs to count
17 pieces of clothing with fringe (including cowboy boots)

I can only hope that the 70's never ever truly come back.

And so it begins

ehhhh.....maybe the post title is a little pretentious but it seems to suit.
The Banana is In....like those old Peanuts strips when Lucy sets up the The Doctor is In sign. And the banana part comes from one of my billions of nicknames.
